Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) – Skagen Webshop, Takeaway & Events

  1. How are goods delivered from Skagen Webshop?
    We ship with Bring. Delivery fee of 39/59 DKK for orders under 1.000 DKK.
  2. Can I return food or drinks?
    No. Food and beverages are exempt from the right of withdrawal. Other items can be returned within 14 days.
  3. How do takeaway orders work?
    Take-away is ordered online and picked up at the restaurant. Your order confirmation is valid as a receipt.
  4. What are the rules for gift cards?
    You have a 14-day right of withdrawal if the gift card has not been used. Used or partially used gift cards cannot be canceled.
  5. Can I get a refund for tickets to events?
    Tickets are only refundable in the event of cancellation. Changes to the menu or number of participants do not entitle you to a refund.
  6. What applies when cancelling parties (12+ people)?
    Cancellations must be made in writing. Depending on how late the cancellation is, up to 100% of the confirmed amount will be invoiced.
  7. How do I pay in the webshop and for takeaway?
    We accept Dankort, VISA, MasterCard, PayPal, etc. Webshop amounts are deducted upon shipment. Take-away and gift cards are deducted immediately.
  8. Can I adjust the number of guests for my party?
    Yes, up to 5% reduction can be made free of charge up to 48 hours before. For major changes, the cancellation policy applies.

Delivery

  • Orders under DKK 1.000 will be subject to a delivery fee of DKK 39 / DKK 59.
  • Orders are sent with Bring and are generally delivered within 2-4 business days.

Right of withdrawal and return

  • You have 14-day right of withdrawal on all goods, except:
    • Food and beverages.
    • Goods with broken seals for hygiene reasons.
  • When returning, you pay for the shipping yourself and are responsible for the item until we receive it back.

Payment

  • We accept: Dankort, VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, JCB and PayPal.
  • The amount is only withdrawn when the item is shipped.
  • Payment is made via a secure, encrypted connection (DIBS).

Warranty

  • You have a 24-month right of complaint as a consumer.
  • In the event of a justified complaint, reasonable shipping costs will be refunded.

Events, cooking school & arrangements

  • No right of withdrawal, see “Act on Certain Consumer Agreements”.
  • Tickets are only refundable in the event of cancellation.
  • Changes in menu, guests, etc. do not entitle you to a refund.
  • Refunds for cancellations will be made automatically within 7 business days.

Ordering & pickup

  • Take-away is ordered online and picked up at the restaurant.
  • Your order confirmation serves as a receipt.
  • When purchasing a gift card, it is sent via email and activated immediately.

Right of Cancellation

  • No returns on drinks and food.
  • Gift card: 14 days right of withdrawal if not used in whole or in part.

Payment

  • We accept: Dankort, VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard, Maestro and JCB.
  • The amount is withdrawn upon pickup - for gift cards, the amount is withdrawn immediately.

Refund for changes

  • In rare cases, the menu or dishes may be sold out. In that case, we will contact you.
  • If a solution cannot be found, the payment will be refunded to the same card.

Privacy Policy

  • We only collect the information necessary to deliver your order.
  • Your information will not be shared with third parties without consent.
  • We use cookies to improve the user experience.
  • Data is stored for up to 5 years and processed in accordance with applicable legislation.

Cancellation Policy – ​​Parties & Events (12 people +)

At Skagen Fiskerestaurant, agreements about companies are the starting point. binding under Danish lawHowever, should you need to change or cancel your company, we have the following conditions:

  • Cancellations and changes must be made in writing by email to the restaurant in question.

In case of cancellation of the entire party or reduction of more than 10% of the number of guests:

Adjustment in number of participants

  • You can downgrade up to 5% of the confirmed number of participants free of charge up to 48 hours before the event.

Prepayment

  • 50% of the confirmed amount for the company must be paid no later than 21 days before the event.
  • The remaining amount is invoiced and paid. after the event has taken place, unless otherwise agreed.
  • If an invoice is required, this must be agreed in advance.

Payment restrictions

  • It is not allowed to pay more than DKK 14.999 in cash or with gift cards, regardless of the total amount of the event.
    (This follows current legislation on payments.)
