FAQ about allergens

The allergen page is designed to provide clear information about which allergens are typically present in our dishes. This makes it easier to choose with confidence, even before you order. Many people find that it gives them peace of mind to be able to find out from home or at the table. And if you are still in doubt, we are happy to help you further.

See the overview as an aid to making a better choice – not as an absolute guarantee. In a kitchen, there may be changes in raw materials, deliveries and preparation, and traces of allergens may occur. Therefore, we always recommend that you tell us if you have allergies or special considerations. Then we can guide you specifically based on what you are considering ordering.

When eating fish and shellfish, it will be important for many to know the content of, for example, shellfish, fish, gluten, milk, eggs and mustard. There may also be nuts, celery or soy in some dishes, dressings and sauces. The allergen page helps you get an overview so you don't have to guess. But always ask if you are in doubt about a particular dish.

If you have a serious allergy, it is important that you tell us clearly before you order. Then we can have a concrete talk about the dishes and what can be done on the day. We would rather have that conversation once too much than once too little. That way you can choose with the greatest possible confidence.

Sometimes we can adapt, and other times it doesn't make sense due to preparation, sauces or ingredients that are already part of the dish. That's why it's best to ask us before you order so we can assess the options specifically. If we can help, we'll be happy to do so. And if we can't promise anything, we'll say so honestly so you're not left with an uncertain choice.

The allergen information is provided as an overview, but dishes and ingredients may vary from location to location and over time. Therefore, it is always wise to use the allergen page as a starting point and then confirm what is relevant to you at the restaurant you are visiting. If you want to be extra sure, contact the restaurant before your visit. That way you can have peace of mind.

So ask us once too many times. Tell us what you can't tolerate and what dish you're considering, and we can check the ingredients and explain it in plain language. Some allergens can hide in dressings, breading, stock or toppings, and it's easy to overlook. We'll help you clarify before you order.

Yes, but we need to be notified well in advance, especially if there are a lot of you. It is a great help if the host collects all allergies and special considerations and sends them to us in advance. This way we can plan and guide more precisely, and you avoid having to solve everything at the table. It provides a calmer and safer experience for everyone.
